Das PDF Xtra erfreut durch einfache Syntax und schnelle Erstellung von PDFs, vor allem im Vergleich zu seiner PDF-Klasse. Wer on the fly PDFs aus Director erzeugen möchte, sollte das Xtra zumindest mal beäugen! Komisch, dass ich das nicht schon früher bemerkt habe!
Allen Partridge hat auf seinem Blog Details zu den fehlenden Errorcodes bekanntgegeben. Diverse User in den einschlägigen Mailinglisten hatten sich beschwert, dass der ein oder andere Fehler nicht dokumentiert sei. Nebenbei gibt es noch ein paar Slides zu einer Präsentation zum Thema Ageia und PhysX in Director.

Yuichi Aizawa (Japan) hat neue Xtras für D10 und D11 veröffentlicht:
Beide Xtras können unter http://www.eee-craft.com/director geladen werden.
Das awaW3DTrans Xtra erlaubt den Import von 3D Dateiformaten, und awaImage Xtra ist ein Xtra zum Laden und Speichern von Bilddateiformaten.
Beide Xtras sind cross-platform.

Director 11 Hotfix 01 is LIVE now in the Director Support center URL : http://www.adobe.com/support/director/downloads.html This is a Mac only update that addresses the following issues: Referencing a cast member fails when the Cast name has special characters like !, @, #, $, %, ^, &, *, (, ), _, +, |, },etc Shockwave Audio (SWA) files were not streamed properly Field component performance is very slow on MAC Please read the installation instructions in the readme.txt file. You will unpack the dmg file, then run an application to install the hotfix. You will need to know the path to D11 on your system. A Terminal window will open and ask you to close D11 if it is open. When you finish you can check the installation by putting the environment. The build will be 430.
